The Yates family is active in the management and operations of the family-owned Spicewood Vineyards. The team also operates like an extended family — and treats guests like family too.

Reagan Sivadon, Assistant Winemaker

A long-time friend of Ron Yates, assistant winemaker Reagan Sivadon got his first experience at Spicewood Vineyards as a volunteer. With a background in construction management and building restoration, Reagan joined Spicewood full-time in 2012 working in the vineyard to build the trellises and irrigation systems. Over time he began spending more hours in the winery with Todd learning the wine making process, and transitioned to the role of assistant winemaker. The father of two is an avid student of the wine industry and enjoys discovering new Texas wines.

Lauren Sposetta, Event Manager

Lauren identifies as a true southern lady with roots in New Orleans and Texas, but her love of events comes from years of living in NYC where she worked on large scale events like film, art, and music festivals as well as award shows and galas.  After moving to Austin five years ago, she turned her focus to weddings and has managed over a hundred of them since joining our family. Whether you are having your Big Day at the vineyard or enjoying one of our Paella Parties in the vines, you feel like you are spending time with a friend – a friend that has great taste in food and wine and who can MacGyver any situation thrown her way with a cool head and smile on her face.
